This one seems weird.  PC runs fine and is usually very silent all the time for the minimal office/browsing load it has.

If the computer times out into sleep mode on the power plan or I shut down Windows 11, the light on the power button goes out, and the fan kicks on high and loudly.  If I then push the power button to turn it on (or hit a key to wake it up if it was asleep) and the fan will go silent again with everything running fine and very quietly.

Within Windows 11 I've selected Ryzen Balanced Power Plan to no effect.
In BIOS I've reset to factory defaults.
All Windows Updates are installed and all drivers are current (updated these with CCleaner Pro).

I've only had this MiniPC for 2 weeks and just started doing this a couple of days ago.
The only change recently has been adding my previous 2.5" 500gb SSD to slot in the inside top of the case

The machine runs great, but this is a real nuisance.

All suggestions are appreciated.   Thx.  -george

George, what you describe has been repeated endlessly. Many users complain of constant shutdowns and problems waking from sleep. Needing to unplug the power to restart the PC is also a common issue. I don't know of any absolute solutions other than Turn off Sleep mode in settings.

Thanks for the feedback.  That's what I've done so far (turn off sleep mode).  It works.  Just stays on all of the time. Thing runs great except for the noisy fan issue when idle. I emailed support today.  In your experience do they respond to emails?

Not in a long time and when they do you can't understand what they are trying to say. They aren't much help at all in fact. In November last year they claimed to all have COVID and have been on vacation for the past 10 days and only answered a couple of questions in the weeks before that. Sooo support ain't gonna happen.

Hello there,

① Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. Please send us a picture of the Main page, we will check if you need to update the BIOS.

② Please go to power option and reset the power setting.
