New troulbe!! Am having issues with Keyboard (logitech). The KB seemingly does not respond to key presses or has very very looong delays. Just figuired my connected USB drive (connected to USB 3 port) is interfaring with keyboard (connected to USB 2 port). If I remove the USB drive, the KB seem to work albeit I think there is a small delay. One other note, it is combo KB and mouse connected to one USB receiver. The mouse continues to work in either cases (with or without USB drive connected).

Any thoughts or solution to this desease?

TIA

Interesting, I'm having the exact same problem on the new 6600h. Plus one of the front USB 3 ports doesn't recognize anything I connect to it. I still haven't figured out how to fix them. At the moment I can only use one USB 2 (for my keyboard) and one USB 3 for an external drive. I've been forced to use my mouse over Bluetooth in order to be able to use my keyboard(which has not BT).. quite annoying.

I had a similar problem. I used a USB extension cord (30 cm) and the problem completely disappeared

I noticed similar behavior with a wireless Logitech as well. It seems to overheat the USB RF dongle thingy that goes in the USB plug. Then the mouse stuttering begins. No one likes stuttering mice or overheated RF dongle thingies.

What i figured from the internet is that USB 3 inherently is a nuisance for creating interference. Thats why probably using an extension cable helps. Since these are mini computer and distance between is small although theyb are on opposite sides.
Using keyboard/mouse and the ext drive in the usb 2 port seem to lessen the isuues. The keyboard delay is gone, but still has occasionlal mouse stutters.

The USB ports in my machines get crazy hot. They work as far as I can tell. I've never tried the USB-C so I dunno 'bout it. The little RF adapter has a lot more heat than I've ever seen before in over 15 years of using Logitech wireless keyboards. Bluetooth 5 keyboards and mice work good. As for these PC's I think the processors are excellent (way to go AMD). However, the motherboards are unstable in a few notable ways. I have never had to continuously unplug a computer just to get it to turn on (until now).

These little dongle blocks work best when the keyboard/mouse have "line of sight" communications. That is when you can draw a line from one to the other with nothing in the way.

I use a right angle adaptor with mine, in the top port on the back. This raises the dongle about half an inch above the computer casing ... It gives me about 20 feet before it starts crapping out.

The USB dongle use RF (radio frquency) and does not need line of site.
