Hello,


I purchased my Beelink SER5 two weeks ago. It is fast but now I am having issues. When I shut it down and then power it back up, nothing happens. You can see light on but nothing on the screen. Keyboard and mouse don't work either. I have to pull the plug and take everything from usb ports and then plug everything back in. A couple of times I actually corrupted my start files and had to rebuild. I don't know if I have a bad model or bad drive. Anyone have any ideas?

I have the same problem when the computer entered the sleep mode.  I pressed the keyboard or mouse to wake it up,  the power light is then on and fan is also on, but the screen is blank, no signal. I had to shut down, disconnect the power cord for 30 seconds and turn on to bring the computer back. Right now I put the computer in never sleep mode. I hope there is solution for the issue.

Everyone that has a Beelink SER5 5560U has this problem and many more problems.
#1 your cmos battery is dead on arrival.
#2 USB C does not do video even though the manual says it does.
#3 You can't install realtek audio even though it has an Realtek ALC897 IC
#4 Removing or adding a USB device will BSOD
#5 The machines turn on and off when they want.
#6 Inability to restart the machine without unplugging it and plugging back in.
#7 Surround sound does not work - Period. HDMI is stuck in PCM and wont Bitstream Sound Codecs.

I have 2 of these machines and they are defective from the factory.

Having the same Problem with SER 5 Ryzen 5 5560U I had a look at the Websites of AMD ... and there is the solution:
Under "Drivers and Software" you can find a "Autodetect and Install" tool.
load down this tool to your Beelink PC run the tool and it will show you which drivers are not installed
load down and install the correct drivers for your AMD CPU
... and everything is working fine!

Beelink has missed to install the correct/actual drivers for the AMD CPU!
But you can fix the problem quite easily!!!

@stevegel (and anybody else who does use the "Autodetect and Install" tool from AMD), please report back here if that was successful for you or not.  I need to fix one of those computers but it belongs to my relatives and I need to travel to their town to do so.  I would like to know more about the success rate of the tool before I make the trip.

Also, for @stevegel: from what you wrote, it seems you have a few of those computers.  Did you experience any of the symptoms listed by Cleariati (a few posts above)?  My only issue is the black screen but if most of them have all those issues, I may need to look for a different computer for my relatives.

You should look for a different computer. I spent days and many, many hours with AMD Tech support and his response was the same - the motherboards are defective, get a new computer. There are more problems than the ones I listed above. You wont hear of most problems people are having because they will refund the machines. It should not require an advanced deegree in engineering to setup or use a computer. If everything is WHQL life is easy but even the Bluetooth module puts users at   risk because neither Mediatek nor AMD properly support this super cheap module therefore you end up getting 2 drivers from questionable sources and that is a real problem.
