Recently I purchased the Beelink GTR4 AMD Ryzen 9 4900H; Mini PC 32GB DDR4 RAM 500GB; Support 4K@60Hz Triple Display, Wi-Fi 6, 2 * 2,5G RJ45, Fingerprint key[GTR4-32-500] from Amazon

All the cables including the power supply and monitor HDMI Cable came with the PC

Occasionally and randomly about 2 or 3 times a week my monitor will go blank but my Beelink PC remains on. I have to shut off the power by pressing the power button.

This happens regardless of whether i'm playing a video or just writing an email.

Also occasionally when shutting down my PC, the monitor will shut down but the PC remains on.

I've eliminated the monitor as the problem as I tried a new monitor and the same problem occurs.

I think I have been able to reduce the frequency that the problem occurs by going to Power Options > Advanced settings > PCI Express > Link State Power Management and turning this from "Maximum power saving" to Off.

The resolution is 1920 x 1080 which is recomended.

I tried changing the refresh rate of the display from 60 Hz to a different refresh rate but 60 Hz is the only refresh rate available.

However the problem persists. Any ideas as to what is causing the problem?

Thank you

Hi rmarion59 . I don't think the problem is with any settings I've changed. This is a new PC and I don't like changing default settings.

I don't see how the fast startup option could be the problem as I don't have any problem booting up.  The problem occasionally occurs when booting down. The PC will sometimes remain on when booting down but the monitor turns off. Also the monitor will sometimes go black randomly regardless of what I'm doing.

I have windows 11 and I can't find the fast start up option.

This is a new PC and I bought the HDMI cable and power supply with the PC. Do you think the HDMI cable could be responsible for both problems and is it worth getting a new one?

Thanks for your help

To disable fast startup on Windows 11, use these steps:

Open Control Panel.
Click on Power Options.
Left side  Click the "Choose what the power button does" option.
Look for fast startup and disable it.

This worked for me

Thank you. I have disabled it.
You said "This worked for me". What problems were you having?
I have two problems:
Occasionally the monitor turns off randomly. Since buying a different cable it just goes a bright green and I have to turn the PC off by holding down the power button.
The other problem is the PC not always shutting off when powering down the PC.

You may try to update, or reinstall display drivers. You may also try to roll back display drivers.

I have tried to update and reinstall the display drivers and tried the other solutions. Unfortunately nothing I have tried works.

I'm thinking maybe it's the power supply and not the PC. Do you think buying a new power supply could solve the problem.

thanks
