Drag up the screen!

Hi, i just got my box and there is a lot that i dont know, i have seen it somewhere that one can drag up the screen with a mouse pointer, but i cant mange to do that, any help will be appreciated.

You might consider a different launcher - like Nova Launcher for example (that's what I use - excellent!)
