GT1 S/N A912 with 9377 chip

I've discovered that my box has the 9377 chip and not the 6255.so beware of what you're flashing.maybe that's the cause of the problems some folks posted here.

Can you explain to people how they can check if they possibly also have an A912 with a 9377 chip?

And did you try flash the other firmware for the 9377 chip, and if so, what result did you get?

Software Like AIDA64 can show everything

I have A912,  Aida64 shows 9377

I think all units with a 6255 wifi chip show up as a q201_9377 motherboard.
Personally I don't think it means anything.
The only way to be sure is to open your box and see whast is written on the wifi chip.

I think aida64 is a trusted app, it's not a big deal to open just needs to apply thermal paste again

Here shows message is a product q201_9377, but not wifi chip, and it has no wifi chip message on these apps, so you need to check your S/N to ensure this.

It doesn't matter what aida or cpu-z show, S/N A912 has different wi-fi - bluetooth  , so if you flash 9377 rom , they won't work.
