Maybe Beelink could send the maker of the custom ROM on the Freaktab site a GT1 box to test with.

I will test it today. Fortunately I have a S912 version. If Widevine is fixed, it would be a big plus for me. If WiFi speeds are good, it makes this box perfect.

It is definitely a challenge for Beelink to make this box shine like it is supposed to.

There is a dirty little secret with these boxes and it is a little unfair to the manufacturers who do make good software but you can just about flash any firmware on any matching processor box. The biggest thing is to match the WiFi chip. They will sometimes brick hard and to restore requires shorting pins on the NAND flash. It is pins 29 and 30 on this one (TBC). Short the pins while connect to PC, and apply power and you are able to flash new firmware.

That firmware looked promising too.
Too bad he doesn't have a GT1 anymore.
maybe Beelink should send him one to work with.
small price to pay for hammering out a decent firmware for the rest of us.
