Windows not recognizing microphone on U59

I have tried a couple of mikes input to the headphomes/microphone port on the front of the U59. Windows 11 Pro does not find any input device. Has anyone encountered this problem? Do you know the resolution?

Hello,
Please try to set the output of the sound settings to headphones in the system.

I have the same issue. It did work when it was first setup out of the box. But after a bunch of auto update etc, now the headphone jack is no longer an option under the Sound- Output settings ! If I cant see it at all, how do I change the output to headphone....

When I look under device manager, the only sound device listed is my Dell monitor which has the built in speaker. I dont see any other audio device listed !

We are continuing to have similar issues (the audio jack not showing up in device manager) and struggling to get any response from support.

Also, random restarts and constant issues with the PC.
