Hello all

I have had a Beelink SER4 4700 mini-PC for a couple of months.

All of a sudden, I've been getting BSOD after BSOD.

The BSODs usually have different messages, it's not the same one.  I was playing a video game on low-medium settings before it happened.  Although it has crashed on some Java websites...

I have reset Windows 11, to factory settings. Did not work.

I have also tried:
 • unplugging everything and putting everything back, making sure it's all secure
 • taking one module out and just trying the other
 • ran memtest86+, passed
 • various things with the command prompt in the "advanced recovery" page (e.g. chkdsk, which didn't find anything, & I've backed up my data using xcopy)
 • antivirus found nothing wrong with system

bsod messages include:

BEX64  (ntdll.dll)

MoAppCrash
ntdll.dll

I tried to un install and re install the dll but got an error " Not a valid DLL"
How can I repair Windows?  I don't think I have any activation key if I wanted to do a totally clean install on a new drive.  Also, I don't have another PC to create a bootable USB

I haven't touched the BIOS.  Is this a hardware fault or a software problem?

Has this happened to anyone else with this on the 4700 mini-PC?  Does anyone have any good advice for me to be able to enjoy my Mini PC experience??

Thanks in Advance!!!

I will try to help you - you probably already know BEX64 errors are usually caused by something hooked into file explorer. Bittorrent programs have a habit of this. You should uninstall any software you installed before the errors began, that might help. You do have a windows license - it's digital and connected to your Microsoft account (email). make sure your computer is logged in with a Microsoft account and check Activation in Settings. If it says "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account" then you are good. You can download the installation media from Microsoft - install it. Log in with your Microsoft account and it will activate the new install.

I'm using GTR5 and don't have encountered any Exception Error BEX64 BSoD... BUT, I have seen and fixed it mostly on Gamer' machines.

Windows Data Execution Prevention (DEP) will sometimes block the application that crashes and it may as well trigger the error and crash with exception error BEX64.

1) Eliminate third-party interfering apps. In other words, uninstall all potential craps... especially those that could be interacting with Startup!

2) Disable the Data Execution Prevention (DEP)
a) run Command Prompt as Administrator, then enter;
b) bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff <enter>
c) Restart your machine and try to replicate the exception error by launching the program causing the exception error BEX64 and see if it still there or not.

Let me know.

I hope it helps!

Could you try this to see if there are any windows problems:

Open a command prompt as Administrator  (or terminal as administrator) and enter the following command

sfc /verifyonly

to check if your windows system files are intact or corrupt.
Please post your result and then we can look further.
