Obviously, there is no space for HDD in GTR6, so you can order a flexible cable and a SATA III ada ...

Yes but this idea only works so long as the GTR6 motherboard has the connector for a GTR5 SATA cable... which I bet it probably doesn't. Why would it? I'd buy the GTR6 barebone and install M.2 1TB system SSD and 2TB storage SSD.  I'm just calling out the misleading mistake on the GTR6 specs.

I like your idea with your GTR5 to create a breathable gap using the nylon spacer washers, so the fan you installed can pull air in.. It's an inventive active cooling solution.. thanks for sharing it. Whether or not making a gap or removing the bottom base plate is required for the GTR6's fan I don't know.. You'd think they'd have designed and tested it so this unconventional step would not be necessary.

On the motherboard, there is a connector for a flat SATA III cable on the bottom of the Wi-Fi module - it can be used for a third SSD

Yep, I see the SATA connector in the photo I previously posted after zooming in.. (and the photo you posted above). I stand corrected. It seems they initially intended to support a 2.5 inch HDD but later dropped it from the design.
