HwMonitor is free, among many other free and commercial apps which can help.

Does the CPU fan speed show in HWMonitor ? It's just that the image you posted doesn't show it. Thanks.

Thanks. Then I assume you have no troubles outputting the CPU fan speed for your GTR5 using lm-sensors in Linux ? I'm a Linux user, Manjaro & ZorinOS dual boot.. If HWMonitor can display GTR5 fan speeds in Wndows then lm-sensors should also be able to detect and output same. I've seen from other postings you use Linux.. Dual boot system with Windows on your GTR5-5900HX I assume ?

HwMonitor is okay... SpeedFan is used too.

I have Zorin 16.1 Pro installed on a disk and I like using it on/off to keep up with UNIX-Like OSes). I know of lm-sensors and fancontrol packages but must admit I have not tested on my GTR5... FanControl functionality depends on both hardware and software. If hardware doesn't support fan speed controls, it is very likely that you could not use this solution.

I don't recall seeing anything in the BIOS about Fans but I'll take a look. The GTR5 is quite an amazing machine, however, the AMI BIOS documentation is not easy to find... or guess!  Take care!

For Fans control... I do not suggest AMD Adrenalin -> Performance Tuning -> Fans... If you are using OverClocking then you already know about it... I have bad experience with it so I don't even wanna try! :-)

What fan speed does HWMonitor show your GTR5 CPU fan run at on idle ?
What's the fan speed under load running Cinebench ? (on stock settings not overclocked) I'm curious !
Is the fan noise excessively loud when running an R23 benchmark ?
Disappointingly YouTube reviewers never really cover CPU fan RPMs, therrmals and cooling performance under synthetic loads in their reviews !

I've not bought a Mini PC yet so I'm digging for info.. Hope you don't mind me asking you these questions. Many thanks.

I did run Cinebench R23 and I cannot feel any difference. To be frank, running idle, Cinebench R23, compiling a huge project under Visual Studio or compiling a symphonic orchestra score on Finale with tons of loaded VST soundbanks and doesn't change a thing. Fan readings are stable. When I power on my mini PC, I can hear a "noisy" sound for few seconds, that's it!

In this case, I have used Cinebench R23 with Fan Control Monitor (AIDA64 Extreme).

I hope it helps!

p.s.- My mini PC GTR5 5900HX is way better than I expected. I'm still looking forward to put my hands on the upcoming GTR6 as soon as it becomes available here in Canada.
