Soundbar remote minimizes applications

When I press the volume up button on my soundbar, it causes Tivimate, or whatever app I have running to minimize.

Is there a setting somewhere that I can change to stop the minimizing?

I dont know of any setting, BUT sounds like the remote for your soundbar is an IR type.
I learned long ago that sometimes IR code signals do interfere with one another.

Plus the Beelink box has an IR sensor somewhere along the FRONT edge.
My TV remote interfered with the beelink box, so i put black electrical tape across the whole front edge of the box.
BAM.... problem solved. Try it, probably solve your case too.
