Latet Microsoft Update (Week of Aug 29) Break Finger Print Reader Function?  Last time this happened about 8 months ago, I had to reinstall Windows 11 Pro from scratch to get the embedded finger print reader to work again.  But my external USB based reader worked fine.  THIS TIME, both the interal reader and the external USB reader, both fail to work right.  Right after the latest update, all I get is "Oops, Something went wrong..." message when I try to record a finger print, and neither sensor seems to be online at all, Windows 11 with update does not respond to either device.  The devices ARE installed in the device manager, and the driver status shows installed and loaded and active, but they don't work.  I am REALLY not looking forward to reinstalling my OS and reconfiguring everything from scratch again.  I wish Microsoft and the various finger printer reader vendor would get this issue resolved, this is the 3rd time this has happended in the last 2 year or so, the first time when I had Windows 10 installed, and now twice since Windows 11 installed.  What a PITA.

Hello there,

May I have the picture of SN on the bottom of the PC ?
1. You can try to roll back the PixelAuth WBF Device driver .
2. Reinstall the driver.

Have tried to roll back driver and re-install driver.  Last time this happened, I had to completely reinstall Windows 11 Pro OS from scratch.  The PixelAuth WBF driver is almost 2 years old, it REALLY needs an update.  I am not going to keep reinstalling the entire OS over and over to get the onboard reader working only to have it stop working a couple of months later.  I have reinstalled the entire OS 4 times now, each time to get the on board reader to work again.

As for a picture you have asked for it before and I provided it.  You even sent me a complete new OS media disc.  Which I have used to fix this issue before.  But it always is the SAME driver that is now almost 2 years old, that is very old.  Can't you get updated drivers for the finger print reader?

Simply get the full drivers set for your machine. Go to Beelink Support page for your machine then download the Drivers. Unzip the file on your mini PC, then install/update using Device Manager.
