Video adapter for SEi8 i58279u – do I need an active adapter to go from USB cto HDMI for video out, or just a USB c to HDMI cable. If I need an activeadapter could you recommend a specific brand? Thank you.

Hello there,
The item SEi8 i58279 doesn't support USB C to HDMI , you need to use HDMI to HDMI cable.
