The device suddenly cut off the power twice

Hi ...

I upgraded the ram in the device from 32gb to 64gb and the device suddenly cut off the power twice.
Is there any action in the bios settings after upgrading the ram?
Please let me know?

It isn't DDR5 right, that's new and I believe unsupported hardware.
Sorry, that's all I, random guy, could come up with for now.
In general it might be relevant to know the specifics.

Are you running your computer superhot?
Ram heatsinks are generally irrelevant but they are cheap...

No, I'm using Crucial DDR4 /32GB X2/3200MHZ RAM
It is the same RAM that was on the device, but weak memory.

It is said on other forum that after installing RAM you might try clearing your CMOS.
Assumed also to install latest bios etc

We also have to assume it isn't a windows 11 problem since everyone is running an Agile Management release model these days.

When upgrading RAM, I always play safe by making sure the computer is powered off and unplugged.

If your RAM is not working properly, then apps won't run smoothly on your computer and the operating system will work very slowly. Also, your web browser will become slower. It will take more time to open. If it's the case, power off the machine, unplug the unit, open the casing and make sure RAM installed properly.

In my case, I went for Timetec 64GB KIT (2x32GB) DDR4 3200MHz PC4-25600 Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL22 2Rx8 Dual Rank 260 Pin SODIMM, and it went smoothly!

By the way, after successful RAM upgrade, on the next boot, my GTR5 did not boot Windows 11 but went directly to the BIOS. I checked, 64GB RAM... Thanks, bye! F10, boot, bingo!

I checked everything and pressed the CLR CMOS button to clear the BIOS after disconnecting the device and now it's working smoothly and with full power.

I have had a couple of sudden power offs over the last couple of weeks, the PC is standard as I bought it 5900HX, 32GB.
It shut off only a couple of minutes after starting up so I don't think it is temperature releated?

Is there anything I can look at to see why it shut down (Probably not)

I'm running Windows 11 21H2 and have been since I bought it a few months ago.
