Generally speaking, it needs to be powered if you connect to a printer, otherwise the power will be insufficient.

No offense but I think Beelink's support is not right.

Printer come with 2 cable connection. One is the USB and the other is their own power source (AC plug). Through the AC plug it gets all the needed electric power without asking USB port for more power.

Usually external HDDs 2.5" have power problems because they use only 1 USB cable for data and for power.

If you connect a keyboard, a mouse and the printer in the USB Hub, I don't think you will have any problems (except if the hub has any quirks).

P.S. I don't think there is any printer in the market that works only with a USB connection. Correct me if I am wrong.

You are right. If the printer has its own power, that is ok.

Printers are not powered from USB, they have a power brick.

I agree, printers get power from other than USB connections.
