Hi guys!

I'm looking for a way to monitor the fan speed in SER 4 Ryzen 4800U. Until now, using the Ryzen SMU (https://github.com/leogx9r/ryzen_smu), I achieved populate the command-line "sensors" (i.e. lm-sensors) whit some informations, like below:

  1. # sensors
  2. k10temp-pci-00c3
  3. Adapter: PCI adapter
  4. Tctl:         +38.0°C

  5. nvme-pci-0300
  6. Adapter: PCI adapter
  7. Composite:    +39.9°C  (low  =  -0.1°C, high = +76.8°C)
  8.                        (crit = +79.8°C)

  9. amdgpu-pci-0400
  10. Adapter: PCI adapter
  11. vddgfx:      668.00 mV
  12. vddnb:       731.00 mV
  13. edge:         +36.0°C
  14. PPT:           0.00 W
Copy the Code

Is there a way to get fan speed or any other informations about motherboard, etc? I'm running a Debian Bullseye.

Regards,

Hi!,

Well, I'm using the Bee-Link SER 4 as a server, so It's running 24/7. In this case, is important to monitor every sensor when possible to avoid problems, like overheating and, of course, a missfunctional in a fan.

As a sample, the graphs below show some informations about CPU Temperature and disk access, memory consumption, CPU and Power consumption.

Hi!

After some research in BIOS, I found a way to control the fan speed. That's something, but not answered my question. Still not possible to get fan speed on Linux. Anyway, to find the fan speed table, in BIOS, follow: AMD CBS -> NBIO Common options -> SMU Common options -> Fan control.
