I am trying to get an iptv app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mt.com.go.iptv.android.devices to work on the Beelink GT King Pro and I have an issue with getting it to work since the Gt King Pro is rooted.
I have tried using the unroot switch in developer options however still the root status is detected and the iptv app will not work!
When I say the iptv does not work, I mean the app loads fine however when attempting to play any content I get an error message referring to that the device has been modified.
What is best way to unroot the GT King Pro please? Is there a specific way to implement the unroot status switch in developer options that I need to try? Of course after every change I uninstall and reinstall iptv app and try again.
I have read about various solutions online however I would rather trust your feedback since I am quite undecided on what to try out next. The link http://forum.bee-link.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=70791&extra= refers to Magisk and Super SU with SuperSU seeming to be the better option. If I were to implement Super SU do I need to implement TWRP recover before doing so?
P.S. I tried looking up unrooting specifically the GT King Pro on http://forum.bee-link.com/forum.php however am I missing the search box when trying to look in posts only for GT King Pro part of the forum at http://forum.bee-link.com/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=196 .
Thanks for any assistance you may wish to provide.
