Enjoying my new SER!  My old computer had a bios featured called "Power on keyboard" where any keyboard button press would turn on the machine (not just a wake btw.)  Is that possible with my new SER?  If not, maybe a future enhancement?  Just a nice to have kind of thing. :)

Hello, dear.
Thank you for your support of Beelink products.
Currently SER does not have the feature of power on via keyboard, if there are many users who need this feature, we will consider adding this feature.

One of the nice things about the feature is that it makes it easier if the SER is on the back of a monitor or out of the way.  It's nice to just be able to touch the keyboard to get it to startup.  And it saves wear and tear on the power button.

What I have been doing.  My keyboard has a sleep button.  I press it and the computer goes to sleep but it is true the power button light is still ON.  Then when I want to use the computer I press SPACE bar and the computer wakes from sleep mode.  This is not exactly what you are looking for but this is what I do.  This method puts everything like the monitor or external HDD drives into sleep mode.

I would love this feature for digital signage applications.  Or places where I can't reach the PC very easily.  Something like home theater setup.

That feature is very useful for HTPC. Please, support power on from keyboard/mouse.
I hope waking up should work out of box.

Powering on is good for embedding the SER into another computer case.
I have a nice HTPC case I used for years and would like to continue using it. My idea is just put SER box inside and have the same visual HW setup for my home theater. However, sometimes the HTPC requires to switch power off/on.
The barbarian way is opening the box, finding the power on pins and soldering two wires to my existing power button. Having ability to power on via USB (keyboard/mouse/custom small board) would be quite helpful.

sleep mode ACPI S3 is not recommended with an additional SATA HDD, because the HDD wont wake up until a complete restart.

Edit

WoL works, even when the PC was shut down... so instead of wakeup with keyboard, you could wake it up with your smartphone.

Interesting point.

Where I can read about WOL with smartphone? Is there an application for that?
