Hello,

Since the release of the Beelink GS-King X, is there anything new concerning the use as a NAS?

Are there more interesting applications than Weline? Weline is it improved? Is it possible to install linux? Or other ?

Thanks in advance.

This GS King X, now comes with a native file server.  It does NOT support functions like RAID, but for me that is a blessing.  Not sure about  a Linux firmware for this box, but I am sure there is one.

Sorry for late reply to this post.

Users can always use manjaro Linux on GS King X and use it as a full linux server.
They can install samba ,cif or nfs for file sharing, Can also use it for media center like jellyfin, plex etc.
Can setup nextcloud on it too.
I will migrate my nas setup from HC4 to GS KingX with Jellyfin, Nginx server, Task manager server.

I will try to document as much as I can on how to flash Manjaro OS and then other services.
