I'm sorry for this dumb question, but I still don't understand if there is a digital audio output in GT King Pro.
I'm undecided wether to connect the GT to my HiFi through a DAC or not.
BUT first I have to understand IF GT has a digital output. We have four connections: lan, hdmi, serial and minijack.
I have read that there i a spidf output BUT which one of the four is the spidf?
The minijack? So how can I set what type of signal (analog or digital) goes to the minijack?

Thank in advance for your answers

it seems an onkyo like mine.

But in case I'll use a DAC connected to my hifi amplifier

The brand does not change anything, the important thing is to use a coaxial input ...
Why would you want to use a DAC, the GT-King Pro is already very good for its audio qualities. Anyway it all depends on the inputs available on your DAC but I don't know much about it, I thought it was necessary use a USB connection to send the sound to a DAC.
If your Hifi amplifier has HDMI inputs it is also an excellent way to have sound in your amplifier .. It is to be seen depending on your use ..

as we see in this photo, we must use a coaxial input of the Hifi amplifier.
Good luck

Hello,
The spdif uses the minijack output, you will need a cable like this.

On your Hifi equipment you must have one (or more) coaxial input, this is where you must connect.
The spdif output is necessarily digital.

Thanks for your answer

You mean that it uses the same audio output than analogic?
One output for both analogic and digital signal?

THX

It was just to say

Why would you want to use a DAC, the GT-King Pro is already very good for its audio qualities.

This is a very good point, actually I was reading some tests where they say that GT dac is very good.
At this point I'll connect Gt analog output to my HiFi amplifier and bypass the "digital output problem"

BTW I'm still curious about which is the digital output
