GT-King Pro firmware：917P0

Hi Beelink Support,

I still did not receive a response on whether if I use "USB Cable Method" to flash 917P0 firmware will I loose all the data on the emmc?  Or whethe there is a way to get out of the "Setting Remote Control" Screen on boot up.

That is why I raise the questions earlier where I notice in the USB_Burning_Tool have options to check or uncheck "Erase flash" and "Erase bootloader".  If I uncheck/disable both "Erase flash" and "Erase bootloader" will it still update the firmware to 917P0 and not erase the emmc data?  The tutorial does not mention anything on this.

Appreciate your response before I start to update the 917P0 firmware using "USB Cable Method".  I prefer to use "Local Update" method but currently the GT King Pro is stuck at "Setting The Remote Control" Screen Only after updating using "Local Update" from 914P0 firmware to 916P0 firmware.

Only OTA update can restore the Emmc date，other way will clear the data
If you need the OTA, please wait for a fer more days ,we will publish the OTA as soon as possible

Hi Beelink Support,

Not sure whether you understand my situation or predicatement.  I followed your advised to update from 914P0 to 916P0 firmware so that I can either update using Local Update or OTA update to 917P0.  When updated to 916P0, GT King Pro is stuck on the "Remote Control Setting Screen".  Attached pict below.

and cannot get into Android Launch Scrren to access to "Local Update" to update to 917P0.  Now I understand OTA will be available in next few days.  Question is with GT King Pro stuck at the "Remote Control Setting Screen" will the device automatically update with OTA once OTA is available?

Please take note I cannot manually check for OTA to start the OTA as the device is stuck at "Remote Control Setting Screen".  Appreciate your advise and input what should be done.  I can wait for the OTA but question is will the device automatically update without my intervention (meaning when I turn on GT King Pro leave in running) for a an hour or so when OTA is available.  When is the expected date OTA is available?  Thanks.

Hi friend.
What happens to you that you cannot leave the initial screen of the remote control happened to me when updating to version 915P0 I thought my control was wrong but it was not like that, it is a system problem and from what I see in later versions it continues to happen. .. I have, apart from the original control, I have another with a keyboard that I like the most and it is the one I use most frequently. I tried removing the usb dondle and putting it back in and I tried to press several keys but nothing then I tried with my other control and if I was able to leave that screen, then I formatted to say the installation is clean and that screen came out again and with it original press several times back and left that control selection screen ... So if you have another do the same or try connecting a pc keyboard if you have and press exit, or go back to see if it leaves there or uses a mouse, or change the usb dondle of the port control and put it in the port (OTC) to see if they solve this because we are not the only ones who are experiencing this with the latest published versions of software. Well friend I hope you can solve the problem ... Greetings

Is the 917P0 OTA released yet. Will it automatically update to OTA with reference to my case where I had updated from 914P0 to 916P0 firmware but the device stuck at "Remote Control Setup Screen" if I leave the GT King Pro turn on for say one hour or more. At this point in time I cannot access to the Android Launch Screen or system just stuck at "Remote Control Setup Screen" for more two weeks.

I firmly believe that there will finally be an update using an SD card and another finally OTA ...
The update via USB also showed errors, see. my previous posts in the photos on page 1.

Maybe it can be modified after you update the 918P0
