It may be that I had forced power-off before, which caused the data in EMMC to be damaged, so that I entered "you are in emergency mode". I have repaired it with the command "fsck - VA / dev / mmcblk1p1"

Yes showdown and reboot seem to have some problem.
To flash it on emmc you just have to run the install-to-eMMC.script which is located in /boot/

Run this script as root or sudo.
Make sure the time is correct before running this script.

After the script is run successfully then reboot the device 2 times with sd card inserted.

After this just shutdown and remove sd card and try to boot. Hopefully it should boot from emmc.

Good luck.

Users can put their HDD in Bays to sleep using a package called hd-idle
Install the package using
  1. sudo pacman -S hd-idle
Copy the Code
Enable it but editing its config file in /etc/config.d/hd-idle and set the timing as per your requirement.
Start hd-idle service.
  1. sudo systemctl enable hd-idle --now
Copy the Code
This will put the HDD to sleep once it have idled of the set time.

By stopping the burn at 15%, will that kill the device for ever?  When I wish to go back to the native Android, does the Burn tool work again to restore it?
Also, when I tried your Linux on another device, the fonts were too small to read at a 10' distance......  And I am not that good in Linux, I can muddle my way through it......

Hello,
At 15% it erases the emmc and when you remove it then it will have a blank emmc and this will just have no os on emmc.

Yes the burning tool will work like normal even after you erase the emmc using 15% cable removal method.
If you want to get Android again on emmc then just run the same process till 100%

Just to let users know that boot sequence is stored in Spi flash which is not erased at all.  So no need to worry about having a dead device just need to take care of the data so please make sure to backup all the data on emmc.
The test image is KDE Plasma and in this you can increase the scaling of the screen if you need bigger screen or just change the resolution if needed.

Good luck.

Yes ofcourse you can install samba and Emby server(Either Docker or native)

Currently I am running Samba and Jellyfin (docker). It is working very well.

I will try to do a tutorial for you or get you some links to follow if I don't get time.

Hi Spikerguy,

Good tutorial.  The voice is a bit soft.

Thank You for the feedback dear.

Yea My voice is soft and as It is my first attempt, I am still trying to figure out the right volume levels and distance.

Will work on it in my next video.

BTW I am looking for another topic to do a video about. Feel free to share some suggestions.
