I have a problems with my new GT King pro (SB9HH) starting by itself.
1. The system boot automatically daily at night. It also causes the TV to starts up because I have CEC turned on.
2. The system also starts automatically after a power failure.
This is a pain as I have to unplug the AC adapter to get rid of such a situation. Is there any way to solve this problem?
I take care of the bills and the environment. I turn off devices that I am not using. I believe that if there is a red button and a remote control, they should activate the device when connected to the mains. Besides, it is not normal for the device to turn on by itself every night.
No. My box starts at night when it's turned off. I have powerkey definition set to shutdown. When the system is turned off at night, it starts up by itself around 3.00 AM. This happens every day. I will try to turn off the CEC and see if it changed anything.
I have observed the following on LG TVs:
- if you press "OK-"-button on the remote control by LG, goes my GT-King starting. Also, are the frequency similar to the power-button on GT-King! Can also take by other TVs the same effect
I have very similar experience! I also have an LG TV -- which is quite an old one now, I got it way back in 2011 -- but it still works great.
In my case, when using CoreELEC -- if I click "OK" to start watching or resume watching a movie, the TV's input is changed from "HDMI" to "TV" -- and this is driving me crazy!
