I have the GT King.  I purchased it just about 1 year ago.  Along with sound problems, intermittent disco=onnection from the internet for no apparent reason at random times, a new issue has just arisen.

The remote decides at random times to stop working (It's not the batteries, I have changed them more than twice)
Sometimes, I'll try to use the remote, and nothing happens then when it kicks into work, the pointer feature has turned itself back on.  I find this annoying since it doesn't seem to be calibrated properly (The pointer is left of center )

Too many little glitches.

And I can't update the firmware because I don't have a PC.  I tried with a friend TWICE... The box knows I put a USB drive in, just won't recognize that there's anything on it.

Too many little glitches make this ONE BIG annoying little box.  Many thumbs down

Hi,your machine will be disconnected intermittently. Does it mean Ethernet or WIFI? There is a problem with the remote control, you can try to replace the battery and pair again.

I think you and the BeeLink posters are at cross purposes, when they talk about outputting 5.1 they are talking about SPDIF not HDMI.
