GT1 mini firmware updates

My S/N 95X2.
Very confused about firmware updates.
I understand there is 2 different memory types/releases of the box: DDR4 or LPDDR4 deciding which firmware update to use.
How do I find out which memory my box has and which is the latest firmware available?
And where to find the most current updates as they are released.

Your current Android version is 9.0, so are you sure you need Android 8.1 firmware? The following is Android 8.1 firmware

Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean by "old" and "hard"? Do you need to restore factory settings?
