Hi, I'm an happy GT1 Mini user, mostly used with Kodi, Spotify, Youtube, Amazon Prime Video and Steam Link.
I finally got a 4k HDR TV and I'm struggling to set the GT1 correctly.
I setup the Display resolution to 2160p/60Hz and signal i correctly passed to my TV that recognize the 4k signal.
The problem is with the apps.
Youtube resolution selection shows resolutions up to 1080p and Kodi display resolution is locked to 1080p. When in Kodi I go to System Info I got a screen that reports 1080p as the Display resolution, even though I'm using 2160p.
Amazon Prime app auto set HD res to its max and it set 1080p res.
On the other hand, when I load HDR videos from YouTube, my TV correctly switch to HDR mode, so HDR is correctly recognized.
I've no network problems (high bandwith with ethernet connection).
I tried to set the GT1 res both to 50Hz and to 60Hz, enable and disable resolution autowitch, tried both 420 e 422 colorospace and the results are the same: no 4k for any app.
What am I missing?
Thank you very much for your support!

Hi, the SN is B95XHQJF30167.
I was using firmware 004P0, now I flashed Alvatech firmware based on the 004P0 (to try if it could solve the problem) and I can get YouTube app to detect 4K resolution, but KODI is still detecting 1080p as the device resolution.
Thanks for the reply.
Any suggestion? Thanks

Kodi and likely for other streaming apps, the GUI resolution unless forced be 1080p but the video playback should be 4K unless you not playing 4K video.

In the whitelist there's only the 1080p/60 resolution and no 4k sources are shown when I search in channels. I'll try with a 4k hdr file to see if it still can manage 4k out, thanks for the advice.
