I don't need Samba File Server functionality that is introduced in version 912P0_wol.

How to get rid of the redundant icon in the statusbar? There's no way to disable the Samba File Server app in the Android settting. The app is not listed.

I'm using Titanium Backup app. I can freeze the Samba File Server app in Titanium Backup. Is it safe to do this, or will this cause boot up issues?

@beelink, @Hansell, I found out how to disable the notification in the statusbar. You have to use the default Light Home launcher, otherwise it won't work.

1. Enable the Light Home launcher.
2. Click on the settings wheel at the bottom.
3. Click on Apps.
4. Scroll to All apps and click on it.
5. Scrolll to System Apps and click on it.
6. Scroll to File Server and click on it. A side windows will open.
7. Disable Noticfications.

You can try to turn off its notification reminder. In the permission settings in the application settings, find the file server. Its existence will not affect your use. It is recommended that you do not force it to freeze

Yes but its an ANNOYANCE.
All I could find to do,  was to minimize it. because it says you cant turn this notification off.
