Is there any active fan control done within the firmware of the box ?
I'd like to be able to lower the rotation speed of the fan when there is not much energy to dissipate.
I mean, when idle, the box should ideally remain inaudible.

I meant when using the box very moderatly, passive cooling would be enough.
Here, I'm only listening to streamed music and the fan is kind of loud.

Our fans always maintain a low noise speed, if it is loud, have you loaded a mechanical hard drive?

Thanks for your support.
I'm using a SSD in a 2.5 to 3.5" adapter, in the top HDD bay.
I'm running the box with CoreELEC and the fan is running at the same speed with Android (904P0).

the fan is speeding up when the cpu temp goes beyond 60c that means when you open up a web browser and a YouTube page it keeps spinning at full throttle for 5 sec and stops and then starts again which is annoying, and it makes a lot of noise, I've gone through all the options in bios but couldn't make it stop.
I don't have any mech hdd's plugged in so i know it's the cpu fan all along.

I have a Beelink U57 I5 8gb 256gb If you tell me how to keep the fan at a constant speed or if you have any bios upgrade for this issue would hugely appreciated.
Thanks
Tolga

You mean in coreelec 9.2.4, you can automatically change the fan speed?
