HI There,
Im new to this group but have owned Android boxes in the past. I still consider myself a newbie though because i dont really install roms or tinker with my boxes all that much. I usually just stick with the default rom and settings.
Anyways.. my question is this.  What is the simpliest way to do a factory reset on my GT King Pro? I just want to get it back to the out of box state. I looked through the forum but couldnt really find a straight answer. When i searched google it told me to hold down the red power button when pluggin it in but that didnt work.  In the box that the GT king Pro came in, i see there is a SD card.. perhaps i need to use that?

Can someone help?

Thanks!

Glenn

Hello Dear,
You posted here on the weekend so I guess beelink team must be on weekend off.

The easiest way to Factory reset your device is to just do it from Android Settings.

The SD Card supplied with the device is to boot CoreElec operating system from the sd card, CoreElec is a TV screen operating system to watch movies and music. It can also be used as a complete TV OS and browse web on it.

Here are some Basic Steps on how to reset android tv box.

Please make sure to remove any external storage attached to the device before resetting the device. Example SD Card, USB Drive, USB Stick etc.

I hope this clears all your queries.
Good Luck.

I too am a new user and need to do a factory reset.  In the basic steps guide you referred to, the second bullet point is 'From the Settings menu, find the Storage & Rest, (I assume Reset), option then select it.'  There is no 'Storage and Reset' in settings in the GT King Pro.  I have been trying to do a factory reset for three days, and I have not found a way of doing it.  Can you advise.  Thanks.

I too am a new user and need to do a factory reset.  In the basic steps guide you referred to, the ...

Inside the settings, the last one is "System", click it to enter
and then, there is a "Advanced", click it to enter
There will be a "reset" option, click it, there will be factory reset
