Problem encountered using Nova launcher;
1)Can't add apps from app drawer to home screen
2)Can't add multiple apps from widget shortcut


Solution;
1)Nova settings>Home screen settings>Search
Search bar placement=widget
Search provider=Nova search
#Once these settings are changed you'll have a google search bar on the home screen that performs Nova recent apps search instead of a google search.
#any app you recently open will be able to drag and drop to home screen from google search bar.

Adding Multiple apps;
2) Drag and drop Nova settings to home.
#long press it to select the widgets icon.
#drag blue apps shortcut to home screen.
#now select your apps, scroll to bottom and click add. Done!
Repeat as necessary.

I'll try and answer questions if you run into trouble along the way.


My setup is GT King SA9X, Stock build 910po + TWRP and Magisk , but this should work across pure stock GT King and GT King Pro.

Thanks will give this a try. Unistalled my favorite (Nova) launcher because of the above reasons.
