I used the wrong firmware with the micro sd method. Dint check the model tipe, my mystake, I thounght there was just of of the GT1 variants. My device booted into recovery, and applied the wrong firmware. I wasnt around, but now the device powers on but no image. Thinking I could fix flashing the right firmware using the double male usb cable, I tried, but no device is recognised by the tool when I plug the usb cable into the device pushing the reset button... Is there a way to fix it or is it lost forever?

well, reading older posts I discovered the short pins method, which worked like a charm. Removing the bottom of the box, I separeted the thermal metal block (which is part of the bottom part) from the cpu block. Should I replace the thermal gunk?

If you remove the heat sink on the CPU, the thermal adhesive connecting the CPU and the heat sink is in a very dry state, you can replace it with a new one
