I see version 7.4.09 is dated Jan. 9 2017.  There is a new one 7.6.08 dated march 6 2017.  Looks like every 2 weeks there is an update for google play store.

This procedure works for every beelink box with the Google pay store issue. And if I got it right, if the box is rooted it won't update the store. I found out the solution searching the forum. To search the forum u have to use a tablet or phone. Click on the right icon that is made out of three lines and press the search button. This forum is practically unusable. Hundreds of posts with the same questions...

Just pick the latest version of Google Playb Store and make sure that is markd ALL becuase there are different version for of the market such as Play Market for Google wear devices etc. Just go to apkmirror website and look for google play store apk. It will show the ALL version by default. I repost the procedure to update Google Play Store...

So I found the solution on how to update Google Play Store.... You need something like Root Explorer app..... Step 1: make Backup File form :system/priv-app/phonesky/phonesky.apk  < that  is Google Play Store Step 2: rename your Download Apk form Google Play Store 7.4.09.L-all [0] [PR] 143719094.aok in phonesky.apk Step 3:Copy the Rename File to system/priv-app/phonesky/ Step 4:Set permissions to rw-r- r for File phonesky.apk Last Step: Reboot System... It works i did on my gt1 ultimate... Download the Google play Store from. Apkmirror

We will have to find it out next time there is an update. So far I installed the latest version and I have no idea. Just wait and be happy with it. I found the way to update it manually, why do you want to ruin it by asking yourself if it updates by itself or not! :)
