It is not just in Kodi .
Play a 4k file fixes the problem every time you turn box on.

Thanks for posting this info.  

This fixes the darkness without having to fiddle with the Kodi video settings which make some things look washed out.  

It's a simple work-around until there is a permanent fix.

I also get the spinning wheel with reboot on screen but it will not update. Please explain how to go into recovery mode or how to download to usb and update.

Another annoying thing is with the "Download Manager", when i'am downlaoding a file and click on the download progress it do "Unfortunaly, Brower has stopped. There is not even a Download Manager app icon to check the downloads or to stop them. I need to force stop the "Downlad Manager" to stop the download. Please a fix for this too, thanks in advance ;)

I had to perform factory reset. I didn't have any valuable information on my device so I didn't back up. Shut down. Remove power. Take paperclip and insert in hole on the bottom until you hear click. WITH THE BUTTON STILL DEPRESSED plug power back in. Beelink will boot to recovery mode and select factory reset. Beelink will boot back up and try reinstalling update. Notice: this may not work. It did for me though. I do not know why it worked though but I also was stuck with spinning wheel. I was using a different launcher though. 106 seems very stable though. Netflix Hulu Spotify Kodi Facebook all seem to be working well. Hope this helps

I would just like to say that if beelink is reading this post I really appreciate your work on improving your products.  I was very close to returning this device, but with this update my confidence has been restored. Your work is valued and your firmware is getting stronger. Keep up the good work and you will have a strong device. Thank you

This is so frustrating. I am still on version 102 and have never been able to upgrade the firmware. I am a very experienced computer user and I have googled everything as it relates to upgrading the firmware. Nothing works.

Updated from 103 to 104 and then updated to 106 OTA. Everything went smoothly.
Dark scenes are better. I believe they should be brighter. I have a RK3368 where they dark scenes are sharper playing through KODI. I have the amcodec turned on.

Definitely an improvement in firmware.

I updated to 106 and tried Netflix because it was there that I first noticed dark scenes. It was still darkso I tried the workaround with the 4k video. But then I got a 0013 error. If I reboot the error is gone but every time I run the 4k video, I have the error in Netflix. PS: I run the video outside Kodi, is that the correct way?

the wifi randomly get disconnected. Does the 24.10.16 fix that problem?
