factory recover error

Hello all,
I've tried to get a factory recover and i got this error (pic attached),
what am I doing worng? do I need to attach a file via usb? if so , which one? I updated and since then apps
don't work I want to go back to the way it was when I got it

Can you list the steps you took to get to that screen.

Are you trying to do a simple factory reset or a firmware downgrade?

1. push the reset button at the bottom and hold.
2.connect the power adapter.
3.keep pushing till i get to this screen.
4.roll down to factory reset.

I'm trying to get the product to the way I got it , before upgrading.
the app I wanted somehow started to work again but the wifi is the worst now
