the wifi chip doesn't support "normal" 5 ghz but a specific 5.6ghz-band. Basically it is 2.4ghz ONLY.

Yes, I can't get any 64-bit Broadcom Wireless SDIO Adapter driver build to work at this point, even though the Bluetooth drivers work fine.  I suspect this is a bug in the 64-bit BIOS.

Do my Z83s use the same wireless chipset as the BT3?  Perhaps that's why I can't get the WLAN drivers to function.

Is it confirmed that it works on 2.4Ghz wifi only ?
I am wondering that because I have a dual band route at home and my BT3 is able to connect to the 2.4Ghz network but not to the 5Ghz one. I see in the wireless list my 5Ghz network but when I try to connect to it I get the Windows 10 error "Can’t Connect To This Network"

Solved !!!!
I am still on 32bit.
I changed the 'Bandwith Capability" value to "11/a/b/g:20MHz" in the Wireless Adapter properties and now I am able to connect the to 5Ghz network.
It was "10a:20/40;11b/g:20MHz".

Path: Device Manager -> Network Adapters -> Broadcom 802.11 abgn Wireless SDIo Adapter Properties (mosue righ click) -> Advanced -> Bandwith Capability
