3rd Party Remote Power Button

I have a MX3 remote with keyboard and all the perks.
The thing is the remote's power button does not wake up the tv box if its shut down.
I thought about leaving the box in sleep mode but when I do the box temperature gets pretty hot.

Anyway does anyone know a workaround this or another controller that would be compatible with this box?

I also would like to know the answer to this. I am not sure if the beelink remote uses IR or not.

If the beelink remote uses IR to wake up the device, then you can sacrifice a button on the MX3 remote and reprogram it using a working beelink remote using "IR learning".

You we're right it was IR. Even when it's not connected  by usb you can power on and off the device with the included remote. I managed to reprogram the power button.  Fun fact is even my Vizio tv remote can control the box don't know if it's CEC or just Ir at work here.
