In an attempt to make HBO Go work on my GT Mini, I used an unroot program. Unfortunately, now when I try to boot the box it gets stuck on the "please wait..." screen. So, I tried to do a factory reset. Toothpick, then plug in power. I selected "Wipe data/ factory reset" and it still gets stuck on "please wait.."I even let it run all night like that to see if it would boot and it never booted up.

I've reset it 4 times and always the same result, "please wait..."

Is my box ruined? Is there a way to fix it? My box is B95X and was runing the stock v9 firmware.

My Win 10 computer won't recognize the GT1 MINI. I've tried installing, re-installing the driver. I even put it in test mode and that didn't work. I have had minimal success with burning to SD card. I've been able to burn GT1Mini_AT_V1.0A_9.0_B905.img to an SD card. When I pop it into the GT1 Mini and select "update" from EXT" in recovery mode I juct get a bunch of errors, "Failed to mountsdcard ... (Invalid argument)

At this point I'm getting very discouraged. Can someone please reach out to help me? I really need this box to work and I've spent a lot of time trying to fix it, but nothing is working. It's still under warranty if that helps.

I am not knowledgeable  yet on the GT1-min, but unrooting efect the boot section, which if messed up, will cause booting problems. No factory reset will help. (It clears only the data section.)
On normal android  messing up the boot usually does not effect the fastboot section, Using Fastboot, you can reinstall the firmware. Hopefully the Amlogic flash program has the same function. If yes, you should be able to reflash the firmware through the usb.

Unfortunately I'm having no success with connecting the box to my Windows  10 computer via USB. I've tried dozens of times and it just doesn't work. So, I started trying using a small SD card, but when I try to "update" from EXT" I just get the "Failed to mountsdcard ... (Invalid argument) error.

If anyone else has a solution I'd love to hear it. Right now my GT1 MINI is a paper weight.

I finally figured out how to reinstall GT1-Mini_003P0_20190814.img on my box, but I'm still trying to figure out how to get sound from HBO Go on my GT1 Mini. I have it on my phone. Is there an app that'll cast it to my GT1 Mini from my phone?

You can grow the latest GT1 mini firmware and use the screen mirroring function

I do not think your box is ruined.  Create an sd card image with the Burn Card Maker  from a good image and install it. Google how. This is assuming that you can boot into the sd card.I did not try it yet, but look at:

It  look interesting, Specially the costumizer tool.
