Beelink GT1 - Green screen flickering every couple of minutes

1. Why does the screen flicker green every couple of minutes?

2. Is it a hardware or software problem?

3. Will this be fixed or should I send my GT1 back to China?

Thanks.

This green Green screen flickering most people have .
That & the dark screen .
For me this is the most important to fix first with new firmware.

test with fw 1.04

greetings to all.
make a statement that the green flickering through movie playback are the following issues as base

1. may be the external hdd disk to less power?
--- works with a usb 3 stick on a usb 2.0 passiv hub without problems, no flickering

or

2. may be a permission issue
--- over 4 movies from fringe with a each length of 40 minutes without issue
the movies are in the permission path for kodi, check if insert to
:\Android\data\org.xbmc.kodi\files\

works.

tomorrow i will test it on my usb 3 external hdd device.

hope anyone can confirm this

I think I found a cure for the green flickering. Since I enabled the "Force GPU rendering" in the developer options, I got no green flicker. Could someone confirm this or it's just pure coincidence?

I saw you posted in this thread too: http://bee-link.com/Beelink-490-1-1.html which deals with a different problem. This thread is about short (1 frame at a time) green flicker, not screen turning green.
So what exactly is your box's problem?

I never had this green screen flickering but I was playing with the settings on kodi (system > video > acceleration) and I turned on the option Allow hardware acceleration - Amcodec and after that I started having the green flickering. I turned it off, leaving on only the options MediaCodec (surface) and Mediacodec, did a reboot and the green flickering was gone. Try it, it may work.

Hi GT1 Users
I just buy a GT1 and I'm interested to know about all of the issues that the box have or could have after work or after Apps instaled, or after changes that we made on Sistem Android or Kodi etç.
To help this GT1 comunity, to solve or avoid issues , i think is important, each one, coment the your GT1 problem, but if possible, remember and tell us, what change sist, Apps previusely instaled or elese, doing just before the issues beguin.

see the post here UP from Floki ...    good explanation... thanks Floki.
