I have a GT King with the latest firmware connected to a 1080p Samsung TV. Everything seems fine, but when I start a 720p or 1080p stream on Typhoon TV or Cinema HD, the resolution appears to degrade. Using MX player, it is showing the feed dropping to 640p and the straight lines are a bit wavy and not crisp. I tried with my older ABOX AIII and the quality is bang on as expected. The applications are configured exactly the same on both boxes and I even reset the GT King to factory and stared over. Is this something with the TV not being 4K or some other setting that needs to be changed?

More information...seems to be focused on the Player Decoder. I am using Hardware Decoder HD (not HD+) on both my GT King and ABOX AIII. The ABOX is noticeable better. Some other research suggests additional firmware developments on the GT King may be required.
