Latest SD firmware update needed for GT1 A912

Hi,

I need the SD method firmware for Beelink GT1 Ultimate 3/32Gb S/N: A912GSEG70298 32C (The blank space might be missing a character because my box is very old now)

I have not received any updates for my Beelink via OTA in over 2 years. I would like to update the Android 6.0.1 to a newer version in attempts to resolve full screen video issues and screen recording issues.

Hi ixchelxi.

You need to use the EPROM Firmware package (aka USB Flash package.) You can still use SD card method of upgrading, but is different than the SD firmware package that is used to update minor changes and retain customizations.

FOTA will only do minor system versions, not do major Android upgrades. So if you want the latest Android, ver 7.1.2 you use the USB flash package.

Thank you for the explanation. It is nice to get a straight answer. Looks like I will need to find a USB cable.
