Hello,

(GT-KING 922b, 2019/10/17 update)
When connected to the internet via LAN, OpenVPN disconnects immidiately after connecting.

The error log of OpenVPN says:

-- Event: CONNECTED INFO=*VPN IP ADDRESS* via TCPv4 on tun...
-- TCP recv error: Software caused connection abort.
-- Transport Error: Transport error on *VPN IP ADDRESS*: NETWORK_RECV_ERROR

But if I connect to the same internet via wifi, OpenVPN connects just fine and works flawlessly. I've tried the same OpenVPN profiles on my android phone and win10 laptop and they also work there so it's definitly a bug with the LAN.

I use my LAN on the box and connect to OpenVPN no problem.
Do you use IPv6 or IPv4 in your home network?

Have you tried the latest firmware?

I've it tried it on the latest firmware and same thing happens. It disconnects immediately after connecting. No problems if I do the exact same steps via WIFI.

Could you please upload a sample of your openvpn server and client configuration files?

@asmith, were you able to fix this issue? I'm experiencing the exact same issue. The OpenVPN app for Android keeps disconnecting and reconnecting when using lan.

Fixed by downgrading the OpenVPN for Android app.

Use "OpenVPN for Android" app instead of "OpenVPN Connect" I just downloaded the latest from google play and works with ethernet and wifi.

I only use the Open VPN app for Android. But the lastest stable and the beta version don't establish a stable vpn connection when using ethernet. I had to downgrade the OpenVPN for Android app. Maybe we have different versions of the Beelink GT King box.
