No sound using HBO Go

I have the latest official firmware 004P0. I've got all my other streaming services working perfectly, but HBO Go has no sound. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it check all the connections but no sound. So, I researched and it seems that HBO Go might not work properly with a rooted TV box. Is that true? I tried unrooting with an unroot app and that didn't help. Is there a good work around for this? A patched HBO Go APK? Any sure fire way to make this work properly? Thanks in advance.

At this time, HBO GO is not supported on Beelink GT-1 MINI TV Box. We are offered on a wide range of other devices, including ones that you may already own or have access to. For a full list of supported devices, please visit here. :(

I still haven't figured out a way to get sound on HBO Go. I've tried a couple on un-rooters with no luck.

I found out that the HDMI output didn't like one of my TV's. So, I am getting sound on HBO Go now. :)
Now that that's fixed I'm very happy with my purchase.
