Starting today Netflix app shows NW-6-404 error

Starting today I cannot use Netflix app on my GT1-A device, the app displays NW-6-404 error. It had been worked perfectly for month, we could still enjoyed it yesterday evening. From my Samsung tablet the Netflix app does work on the same home network. Is there anybody who met similar problem?

It looks like the time has come for the end of netflix HD/4K on GT Mini-A.

Today lot of GT Mini-A users start seeing netflix error NW-6-404 when launching their netflix. Only solution is to install the mobile version, either from apkpure or aptoidetv. That version only supports resolution up to 960x540.

Therefore hopefully Beelink please don't ever promote this as Netflix 4K/full HD unless you get full Google/Netflix certification. The hardware is a beast, but to compete with Xiaomi you must really take the steps to apply for official real Google/Netflix licensing. I know that it is not cheap, and your hardware could get more expensive but we as customers can be assured that we can always get 4K/HD for the netflix.

Luckily for me, I have Mi box S and Mi box 3 to watch Netflix in HD. For GT Mini-A, i use it only for normal streaming.

runs on my GT1-A / Alvatec Android without 5.1 sound.

Serach on Netflix at "Test Pattern" and than play
It takes a little time to runs at 1920x1080

Waiting for Beelink to fix this error......... :'(
Payed for a full Netflix box.

I managed to Netflix running, but not in HD, by installing an older version of the Netflix app dated Feb 2019. I used Aptoide to locate, install and run it.

I needed to use my air mouse to navigate. The Beelink remote was pretty useless on it.

I had earlier tried the much older version that Netflix help recommends but that didn't work .

Like everybody else same issue on a GT1-A box. Bought it because of Netflix supposedly support and I thought Beelink was better (was this an error ?) than a "noname" box.

And like Janfun same question.... Any insight on the issue and what about an idea of an ETA to solve this ???

I noticed that ESN for Netflix containd the word TRIAL - has that any impact on it ...

They are spoofing xiaomi.. that is why if you install CPU-Z or AIDA64, you will see the manufacturer as Xiaomi.. LOL.. at first I thought there was joint venture between Beelink and Xiaomi..

Well that is a bummer!!! I've only had my GT Mini-A for a week and was just getting it nicely configured and today... no Netflix. Well that is a show stopper. This will be going back to Amazon and I'll try again. I've already tried the NVIDIA Shield and it was dead on arrival and so it went back to Amazon. Any suggestions on an android box that has Netflix HD, decent support and updates?

Go for Mibox.. I owned 2 mibox.. 3 and S version.. both are google certified, can run all the hbo now, hulu, vudu, almost everything w/out issue.. compare with this beelink

I was thinking about one mibox too. Do you know if KODI playing FHD/4K videos runs smoothly? Since it has no Ethernet port itself (we have to use an usb adapter) not sure if internet speed is good.

And the overall experience, navigation through menus and so on, is it fast and smooth? Thank you.

Sorry, I stopped using Kodi for quite some time.. I am more comfortable using premium streaming app such as hbo now, vudu, hulu, netflix.. some more kodi quite troublesome to configure.. if u buy mibox just for kodi, dont waste ur money.. go buy something more powerful and cheaper.. mibox is google certified, but the hardware spec is lousy.. for the naviagtion, yes, it is smooth as it using s905x-h cpu.. not better than s905x2 as beelink mini-a or s912 gt1-a, but a capable cpu better than u found in low end boxes (tx3 mini/max)
