I think I don't have another router, it seems weird that my other devices detect it and the Gt King doesn't.  I will try to find another one and try it, thank you very much.

Hi!

My problem was the same.
The problem is that, the GT KING can't see every 5GHz wifi channel (maybe it depends on the country code). So you have to change your 5GHz wifi channel to he other one. It works for me.

Hello from France;

i'm new with TVbox and i'm using a GT-King.

I had the same problem because my box fiber used the 100 channel wifi. I modified this parmeter by replacing 100 by 40. Now, I see the 2 bands 2.4 and 5 GHz  in my GT-King

Koxx6 thanks for your suggestion on how to see 5 GHZ. I am in Mexico using a Huawei Echolife HGH8245Q2 Fiber Optic Modem.

My usual connection speed is 100 MBPS, however, with this @#$%^^^ problem I am stuck at 60 MBPS ... a 40% loss.  I tried to change the modem channel to 40, as you suggested,  but Telmex has the channel setting locked with a custom ROM.  I then called a tech and he said that the channels from 1-50 were not available in their sucky custom ROM.  He tried a couple after 51 and of course, they didn't work, so I am back to square one at 2.4 GHZ

Does anyone know if there is a channel between 51 and 100 that works with the GT King? Let's help each other out here, as Beelink does not seem to be responding much to our queries.  We appear to be pretty much on our own, as far as they are concerned.  At least they are hosting this forum, I have to give that to them.

Problem Solved!!!   I am replying to my own question in the hope that it will help others in the same situation:

Use channel 36, 40, 44, 48, 149, 153, 157, 161, 165 for 5GHz I am now on channel 149 5GHZ and cruising at full speed 100 MBPS.  You set me on the right path guys!!! :)

PS those Huawei Routers are a high-class act (as were my previous ones)  They are very fast and stable with a huge range through concrete walls and, very unusual in this Climate Change Era, don't run hot.  Better than my son's expensive Netgear in California, and what's more, free from Telmex!

Beelink GT-King problems with 5GHZ connection. The box has the first time directly with 5GHZ, connected to my router. But after the update, the box connects to my router only with 2.4GHz. Now my question is what is it?

Thank you very much.
Sorry my English.
