I am currently running at 4k 50hz.

When I change resolution to 4K 60Hz my GT-King keeps blanking out every few seconds.

Seems to work fine at all other resolutions and frame rates.

I am in Australia using a Dick Smith/Kogan GE9663 UHD 4k TV.

I upgraded the firmware but it didn't affect this issue. Everything else seems great.

If you live in "Europe" then you should select "50Hz" only! (in US 60Hz NTSC)
Such as when you watch European live/recorded TV stream etc., then select 50Hz only

Both FHD/UHD !! or SD

BUT if you select and to watch Recorded media(such as BD/contents from HDD or USB-stick etc.,
then you can select 60Hz !!

So you should to know that those your media from "where"!

Its not related by Box firmware!
Use>> 2.0 HDMI cable!(High-grade/quality) then select from your TV Advanced Settings Menu
for proper supported HDMI Port!!

Do you use IPTV??
Or from which Sources you get the media? or what kind of media?

Bye++

I'm in Europe, LG 4K TV, and 4k@60Hz mode is working perfectly. @timo, you should try to change your HDMI cable for a better one (supplied one is garbage...), maybe it'll fix your problem. Good luck!

It blanks out even on the home screen and when it is booting, so I don't think it is a media issue, although maybe the TV runs at 50Hz because Australia uses PAL? I have only been using it to stream from Netflix, Stan and Youtube.

I will try to get a better cable too, to rule out HDMI 2 incompatibility.
