Cannot Load Launcher GT1

I try to change the to another launcher by going into "apps" - "home app" (from gear in right corner) - home screen...  change to ATV launcher, but when I unplug and restart the box, it reverts to the built in "home screen"...  what am I missing?

Settings->Apps¬ifications->Default apps->Home app
select the launcher you want to be the default launcher
