Our GT-King can support up to 2T external hard drives, but the power supply of the hard drive should not exceed 5v 1A, otherwise the power provided by the power adapter will be insufficient.

You can check if the power consumption of the hard disk exceeds 5v 1A. If it is exceeded, it will not work properly.

Is there something wrong info for the GT1-King's PSU???

Because its 12V/1,5Amper !!

From Beelink info page,

Power ;
Power Type: External Power Adapter Mode
12V-1.5A 18W Certification
Input: 100-240V~50/60Hz , Output: 12V 1.5A
...

Check freaktab.forum

Technically such as if you use 1 ext.HDD(USB port conn.) 1,5A proper/good enough to supply power

exceed two/three USB ext.HDD;that means this PSU does not supply your requested power ever!!!

So check your total power reqirements??

Note;12V/1,5A;good only for Box internal use+1xUSB conn. ext.HDD

++

Therefore I'v ordered this Box and its under shipment way,next week its my hand too
Beside I'v ordered a new PSU for 12V/"2"Amper !!!(about 24/25Watt)
I always connected 2x USB ext.HDD !! and one is Toshiba Canvio(1Tb) and keep in mind
this Toshiba HDD s always consume more power!!! so 1,5A org.Beelink PSU does not
give me enough power so I get another more powered PSU such as min.2A or more
sufficient one is 3Amper(35/36Watt)

Note;ext.HDD "capacity" doesnt matter!! 1Tb or 2Tb etc.,
Important is;how they consume! such as WD and Seagate work on less power!!
but Toshiba work on more power!

Note;for testing,do it this;connect your ext.HDD(1Tb)to the USB3.0 port and press
forward/rewind action of your files,if power is enough your disk run well but if power
failure/not enough etc., than your disk stop it or freeze or Box get in re-start action so on...

Bye++

I haven't received my unit yet,just asking if there is sufficient power for a usb3-powered 2TB external hard drive?
and whether a 5V 2A  power adapter is safe to use on this box or not?
something like this one!

Don`t mess about and just use the power adaptor for the box that ships with it. The most a usb 3.0 port can supply is 900mA...that is known for a long time!!

You can also use a 12V 2A 24w or 12V 3A 36w power adapter, but it is not recommended because a poor quality power adapter can damage the machine.

When your Box arrived than connect your ext.HDD and check once than you will see whats going on

Note;Therefore I'v already bought spare 12V/3Amper PSU too

this is true;do not buy and connect poor quality PSU:@

++

Note;Keep in mind that Toshiba "Canvio" type(1 or 2 Tb ext.HDD) consume more power!!!
I'v one and always getting power problem with my Boxes if this Box has less powered PSU!!
Than I change my PSU with 4 or sometime 4A then no any issue!

++

For King box I guess 1,5A good enough with only Box use!
External sources such as 1 or more HDDs then probably you will have power issue

Good luck++
