App Update Issue

Hi,

i have just bought a GT1-A box, each time i start stbEMU the app tells me there is a newer version available to download, when i try to perform this update it fails and gives a message on screen saying it cant update as there is a previous version already installed.

i cannot uninstall and reinstall the app as its listed as a system app, can someone advise how i can get the app to allow the update?

Hi artical.

   I've experienced this also, and you can't upgrade stbEMU via Update notification screen, takes us to the blue screen mentioning about visiting the menu to configure and nothing more happens on this screen. Visiting Google Play Store, Updates available list, It never shows the updates for stbEMU Pro ( Pro, which is what's currently installed.) However if you search for stbEMU Pro, It recognizes being installed and that an update exists (as shown with the Update existing button.) Of course clicking Update button, it wants us to pay for the update. This stbEMU experience seems like a promotional thing.

I don't believe it's something is used by default, or something many would ever use. It should just be removed from system.

Thanks for the update Phant0m``, i do have a paid up subscription for this app as it is something that actually i use a fair bit for streaming a filipino tv subscription for my family.

But seen as it doesn't seem that Beelink want to support the customers that keep them in business i have actually gotten rid of there stock software all together and gone with the ROM developed by Alvatech; he could teach beelink a thing or 10 about customer support if they ever have any interest i'm sure he would oblige :D

LOL!

  You did try updating via Google Play Store and searching for that app and clicking that Update button then? I do know that the notification screen that this app produces with update support doesn't want to update without needing to be configured I guess.
