What a mistake

So I have sold over 200 of the Beelink GT1 Ultimate over the last two years. I have braggged this device up to my clients and they love them. Now I buy a couple of the new so called upgraded version and try it out. From a re-selling point this device is useless. A google account needs to be setup . I set these devices up for clients that don't know how to do all this. So the google setting makes that impossible. I always had no issue selling the GT1 as the home screen sold itself. Now it is basically just a firestick. Time to find a new device to sell, Beelink you just lost a lot of customers with this terrible move. You turned your Cadillac into a KIA.

I have figured out a way to keep DRM Widevine L1 (Netflix Certification) and convert it to Standard Android.
In order for Netflix to work in HD you must use the Android TV version of Netflix App, this is already pre-installed in new updated firmware. Find firmware update at Freaktab's Forum.

you can still order the original GT1 Ultimate, which still uses the normal android box OS, you don't have to order GT1-A units. The GT1-A is to compete with real Android TV OS boxes like the Shield, which you DO NOT have to be signed into google with...I didn't sign into it on my new GT1-A until after I set the unit up.

yes right out of the box you do have to sign into google account but I have flashed the rom back to normal android and now no need for google sign in and the box is great

Hi, with wich ROM i can flash the GT1-A to a normal android device ?
Need TWRP to backup the stock ROM?
Is Amazon Prime running with the android ROM ?
